NUMERACY TEST: Revise

1. 4 Ops: addition, substraction, division, multiplication.
There will be several word problems asking you to use one of the 4.

2. Multiples. What numbers are multiples of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, ...? Do you know your tables?
                    Do you remember the trick for detecting multiples of long numbers?

3. Area and perimeter of Polygons: squares, rectangles, compound shapes (Total Area = area1 + area2), compounds with a triangle (half a square)

4. Time. Vocabulary: Seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, fortnights, season, years, decades, centuries, millenniums.
              Timetables (train, aeroplane, etc)
              How many days from x to y?
              How many more minutes left until x?
              Etc

5. Decimals

6. Odd and Even numbers

7. Parallel and Perpendicular lines

8. Ordering numbers from bigger to smaller (or other way round).
